    Gatorhyde question

Last Saturday I was in line to load my boat at a popular ramp on pickwick when the gentleman behind me rolled his truck into my trailer. No major damage but his tire hit right where one of the boat buckle ratchet is attached. It demolished the ratchet and bent the little tab it’s on. I think I can put a pair of vise grips on it and work it back into shape and the guy (who I know) is gonna replace the buckle. My question is how do i cover up where the gatorhyde was rubbed off?
    Thanks in advance.

First thing is to check the tab for any cracks,
Rustoleum sells spray cans of it. Been using it for my trailer and various brackets. Walmart, O'Rileys, Autozone should have something similar.

The guy at Master Mari e told me just to get a spray can of the bedliner stuff as it's the same thing.....I had more then that that came on in my accident but the guy that paid for it had it done at a truck shop. Was also able to bend the ear back for buckle with no issue.
