KVD is in great demand comercially. He would do well to hire a driver to deliver his Tundra and Z9 to the next stop on the Elite trail, and fly from place to place in a King Air. He could hit so many other personal appearances that way.

And for the record, he is a Bud Light guy.

So let's see how this really matters in real life.

Tundra average 15mpg. 25,000 miles a year is 1,666 gallons. At $2.75 per gallon that's $4,583 a year.

Other brands 20mpg. 25,000 miles a year is 1,250 gallons. At $2.75 per gallon that's $3,438 a year.

Difference is $1,145 a year. If you're driving a $45k plus truck does that REALLY matter and I'm going high at 25k miles a year as a lot of people dont put that many miles on a truck. And comparing gas to diesel is apples ro oranges.

My truck gets an honest 20 mpg towing my boat. But I live in the San Joaquin Valley (its fairly flat) and speed limit towing is 55 mph. I usually tow at 55-62 mph. If I don’t use cruise control I can get as high as 22 mpg.

I could care less about the fuel economy in my truck, MPG wasn't even a consideration when I bought mine...

If I was concerned with MPG, I'd buy a little electric Prius or something...

I just returned from an 800 mile trip in my 2014 6.2L Silverado. 19.9 mpg average with 150 miles in town driving.

That 6.2 is a damn gd engine, I have one in my Denali, better than 22 on the highway, pulling my tin boat I get better than 17MPG doing 70mph all the way.
