    Best Text message I've ever received

    Long story short........

    My best friend passed away 3 years ago this past March. Unexpected, while sleeping. It was the day I went to take delivery of my Tracker PT175. We were so looking forward to fishing out of my new rig......

    I get a call from my wife as I'm pulling out of the lot at BPS. She was hysterical. Bob had passed away, and Amber, his 17 year old daughter, and found him. Bad day indeed.

    Fast forward to this past Sunday. Fathers day. Amber is and always will be daddy's girl. She is talented, beautiful, and self confident. 4 time state qualified in Illinois for girls gymnastics while in high school. Now in third year of nursing school.

    We have dinner a coup!e of times a week, and spend quality time together shooting and fishing.

    She thank ME for being a positive influence in her life.

    My wife and I chose not to have children, but now, I feel, I can legitimately celebrate Fathers day.
    I'm not dead yet.....competition is the life blood of any human being
