    Daiwa ICAST leaks

Nothing too exciting imo, though I hear some great sticks are being introduced!

It seems to me that Daiwa is trying to have a competition with itself for a reel at the $100 price point. I’m not impressed with the reels coming from Daiwa this year.

I wish the smaller Tatula would have been an SV.

New tatula looks pretty awesome. I wonder if it's based ont he steez platform if an SV spool will fit.

If not, I hope they release the 100 and 100 SV at the same time...

If they make a Tatula 100 TW SV and then a Zillion 100 TW SV (or better yet a shallow spool version of each), they will have the market pretty cornered but take away from their higher end offerings. I think the new 100 will be nice and am also looking forward to the new cork gripped Tatula rods.

Never pre-ordered a reel but might actually pre order the new tat. I'm just gonna be pissed if they throw an SV spool in it a couple months later :D

The 2nd generation Tatula rods and the new Kage rods should both be pretty good.

That would be great, but I highly doubt it. We will have pre-orders up on the new Daiwa product very soon. That 100 sized Tatula is going to be very popular...
