    Garmin 93sv Side Imaging help

I recently bought a different boat and moved electronics over from old boat. I installed everything in the appropriate places (or so I thought). I mounted my transducer on transom (almost same place as old mount). Since moving everything over I've been getting several lines on sidescan view between center of boat and my image. I think the area I'm talking about is called the "dead space". The lines run parallel to center of boat line. They are so close together that they almost look solid. The lines go away when I reach approximately 4 mph. Initially I thought my motor was causing interference, but having the motor completely out of the water doesn't affect it though. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I will attempt to attach a screenshot. Thanks in advance.

Yes of transducer and rear/side of boat....give us the info to see how and where it's located.

Need it where you are standing back away from boat.

My first guess will be that the bottom of your jackplate is open and the signal is inteference from the inside of the jackplate. Not a new problem as i had this with my Lowrance unit.....the fix for that was to get a hole shot plate to cover the bottom or lower the transducer some more.

Thanks Couillon, I actually moved the transducer one "step" lower just above pad. I went this morning and all seems to be well. I agree with your diagnosis about the jack plate interference.
