    Solix - sharing Lakemaster card - not working

    I have had a Solix 12 unit at the console with a Lakemaster card. No problems there.

    I just purchased a second Solix 12 unit for the bow. I linked them with the ethernet cable, and most things seem to work as expected.

    However, the bow unit cannot see the Lakemaster card.

    Here is a picture of the SD card screen of the main unit. SD Slot 1 is the Lakemaster card, and it shows as Valid.

    The IP address of the unit at the console that has the Lakemaster card in Slot 1 is 169.254.8.92. You can see it doesn't even show Slot 1. It shows Slot 2, but that's not where the Lakemaster card is.

    Humminbird technical support was no help. The suggested updating to the latest software release. I am doing that now, but I don't have any confidence that it will fix anything.

    Anyone seen this?

    The bow unit should have 169.254.8.92:slot 1 as the choice since that is where the Lakemaster card is in the other unit.

    Update:

    I'm case anyone else has this issue...

    Updating to the latest software release on both units fixed the problem.
