5 or 6 in 100 boat+ tournaments, 7-8 in small local stuff
Solid 5. Win some, lose some. I’ve been all over the board. Have Beatin very tough competitors and lost to weekend warriors. It’s all part of the game. If I can at the very least make my entry fees back in a season, I’m a happy camper.
I consistently finish on the last page of the standings. So Id say 10 for that

I suck so bad that I can get home and be sitting under the air conditioning while the good fishermen are weighing in.
Very easy to rate myself....I'm ranked 8-10 in pre-fishing and missing weigh-ins during tournaments...LOL
I would average, maybe a little more. Last year I won 2 , got big fish twice and got 2nd in another . This year , first one I sucked in then got 5th and just got 2nd a couple weeks ago. Currently leading for team of the year in my club. Just need to be consistent. And I agree with others on the mental aspect of it. I go into each tournament having confidence that we can do well.

I have to consider myself average what ever number that may be, I hold my own and usually make all my entry fees back every season and then some ,nothing to get rich over but it doesn't cost me to keep up the boat and equipment that I need to replenish to fish and buy some new things I want for the boat or whatever so that is a good thing.
1990 374V Ranger Still kickin' bass after all these years
i think it's dependent on the level being fished.
For example, as a local/regional/club/federation guy I'd say 7-8
as a Tour/Costa/Open/Elite angler....2 :)
You should have specified with jersey on or off.

Im going to say an 8 as well. Pretty good around here with 6 club championships and angler of the year. All about time on the water and i know our lakes well.

2, but better than the 1 I was last year, and the ZERO the year prior to that!
I'm not dead yet.....competition is the life blood of any human being
Most of the time I'm a solid 5 but this year I'm a good negative 7
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........
Varies I guess. 10 before the start, 5 about half way in and about a 1 at weigh in. Most always place in the top 20th in a 17 boat field.
Im a 5. With my jersey and flatbill hat on I'm a solid 7. If I stumble on the right pattern I can keep up with most guys but therein lies the problem
What is everyone using to compare for how you are ranking yourself?
I had said small local club tournaments or small opens tournaments, less the 30 people, I am a 8-10. There is a good chance I can win. Then if I talk about bigger tournaments, over 100 people, I was a 3-4. This comes from fishing three BASS opens as a co and top finish was 16th and fishing multiple BASS Nation Central divisional/regional's with a best finish of 21st overall and third on the state team. I still feel that a win might happen, but it hasn't happened yet.
