    Idle temps on 150 opti-max

I have a 2014 150 opti-max and wondering what the idle temp should be. Seems to be kinda of high when going through no wake areas. Water temps around 74 and motor temp is running 150-170. Have a good stream just curious if anyone has any feedback, Thanks

Wrong boards, try the Mercury boards. your motor is not a 3.0 liter.

Repost in 2.5L and be sure to include engine serial number. That said, if the water pump has not been serviced in the last 365 days it's the first place to start.

+1... ALWAYS start AT THE SOURCE: The Water Pump.

MUST replace ALL THREE gaskets when doing it.

Moving thread to the 2.5L (correct) forum for you.
