Ordered the Precision Sonar spacer for my boat a few months ago and just now got around to installing it. As far as I can tell it wont work. Am I doing something wrong? has anyone installed a spacer on a late model Z21? Did your steering wheel hub look like this?

So that black hub with the nut is a spacer? The center cap of the steering wheel has a lip on the back side that fits down in that hole to help secure it.

I know they changed the position of the steering wheel. i think a space is standard these days. I think.
I'm not sure, I would need to look at my old boat which I no longer own.
