I have been in both and couldn't tell much of a difference. I have an 18 model FX20 and love it, the 20 seemed a little faster

The FX21 is a longer boat. There is no question it is going to ride better.

ive heard the fx20 rides better cause it’s easier to keep the nose up in big waves? Any truth?

It partly depends on how you drive it. But in my experience, longer is better. Just saying...

FX21 is going to ride better.... If you know how to drive a bass boat

If you don’t know how to drive it a 21 can feel like a 19.....

Just saying driver makes a big difference

FX 21 is going to ride better. The bigger the boat the better the ride is going to be always. The 20 is a good boat and rides good as well, but 21 a bit better. Top speed is about 2-3 MPH between the two. Another thing to consider is FX 21 has bigger rod lockers and a larger front deck.

I was in a 20'2" 20i and if I bought another Skeeter it would be a 21, but its actually less than 21 feet in length. My boat now is 21'6" and I wouldn't want any less for the fishing I do.

Length, entry angle and dead rise dictate the ride.
