    2006 VMAX HPDI 175

    I recently blew up a 2003 Johnson with VRO oil injection and was told at 10 years I should've replaced the pump or bypassed it and started mixing my gas and oil (nice to know now!). I just bought a new to me boat with a 2006 VMAX HPDI 175. The motor only has 32 hours on it, but considering the age is there anything I need to know about? According to the research I've done the VMAX HPDI seems to be a good motor. Thanks for any input.

    You need to know about the high pressure fuel filter and the strainer in the VST tank. I'm sure you could do some searching on here and find photos and threads.
