    Meat thermometer

Looking for suggestions. I have 2 cheap digital thermometers, 1 pen, 1 wireless. Both are ok but not real good. The wireless isn't made for smoking meats. Once the temp hits well done for the selected piece of meat it beeps constantly, with no way to turn it off. It will still read the temps higher but its annoying. The wireless is the one I really want to replace. Suggestions? I may buy a thermapen, also.

We just got the new itronics TP18 instant reads for our business and I love them (other than the battery slide...but whatever), I also use their probes as secondaries on our cooks and they are always spot on.

The TP18 is out of stock currently because it's been and amazing buy for the price, with a 3 second at most read time it's perfect for quick temping things and getting them back. I also have the TP 22 and it's an easy to use system as well, you can set your temps for alarms or just use it as a read out without an alarm, dual probe is perfect as well.

I was running a Maverick ET-733 on for my 22.5" WSM. Works great. But then I received an Morpilot thermo as a gift. Wow. Great wireless thermo so far. You can run 6 probes at once (if you ever need that much) and it can all be monitored with an app on your smartphone. Range is much further than my ET-733 and the probes have been fine with no issues. I've gone thru my share of probes with the Maverick.

Weber iGrill. Comes with two probes and connects by bluetooth by the Weber app. Has alarms and you can set temps. Works great.

I bought the Maverick, then I bought a flame boss 300 for my BGE, plus the other 2 digital thermometers I have. I think I'm good for a while, unless I see a thermapen on sale.
