Colby Longhorn. Very mild, thinly sliced, melts in your mouth.

Colby in the grocery stores is nothing more than rebadged mild cheddar. Go to the source and get the best Colby WI has to offer.

Grew up 7 miles from Dupont Cheese factory in Marion WI.

It's to hot now, but they ship during certain times of the year.

Gouda is some good stuff. Eat it by itself or with some crackers. Either way, that stuff rocks.

Cabot Creamery has some very good cheeses in their Legacy Collection the Farmhouse Reserve is delicious. For Blue cheese fans, Clemson University has some of the best in the country.

They all have their place. Make a grilled cheese with Brie, bacon and yellow apple slices.

This or real Parmesan cheese from Italy , not grated. That will put some hair on your chest. It’s so sharp you can only eat a few pieces in one sitting but you’ll always come back for more

Extra sharp white cheddar. And I also like Boars Head brand baby swiss.

I tried the Havarti today. It was a good chesse.I understand getting a few pieces sliced at deli is not a true tasting. I still think that Muchee cheese has a soft slow tasting goodness.

For those listing Velveeta, it's not even cheese. My favorites are Sharp Cheddar, Swiss, Kefalotyri (I make my Greek appetizer saganaki with this...addictive), Parmigiano-Reggiano for some of my pastas and I love Romano as well.

    Sandwiches: American and Sharp Cheddar.
    Crackers: Cheddar and Goat.
Sharp cheddar chunk to eat by itself.
    Hot sandwiches, provolone.
The kicker is I do not like it on burgers. I want to taste the meat.
