Lol power plant over here in ND, December and February are amazing! I was saying this weekend how I am actually excited for it, other than the 140 mile drive with a glass boat...

Oh...i've thought about it!!! Then reconsidered...thinking a few bass isn't worth what an ND winter can offer! Not sure I could haul enough propane!

Last weekend I see a for sale post on Facebook. Ended up buying a Eskimo quick flip 1, 6" Nils convertible auger with cold snap cover, MR. Buddy heater and ice scoop for $140. Everything has only been used a couple times and looks brand new. The guys grandpa passed away and he inherited this but doesn't go ice fishing.

Can't pass up something like that!! Even if you only ice fish a couple times a year.

Only thing i'm getting is a new portable...now that Otter finally came out with side doors!

Not looking forward to winter, but I do like getting on the early ice before the truck and wheelhouses get out. About the 1st week of January i'm pretty much done. It's sad courtesy and respect are mostly overlooked in the ice fishing world, the crowding keeps me off the ice...a lot!

70 degrees and 5-20lb Redfish on topwater is much more appealing to me!
