Nice job Mike, was that Fletchers?
Yes. Had my trailer tire blow on the way home... 4hrs away. Hoping not to have another because I only carry 1 spare. I replaced these 3 years go.... 4 tops. First time I ever blew one in 35 years of tournament fishing.

Congrats Mike!!
Nice... ...I guess blowing a tire on the way home is better than hitting a stump on Fletchers...That place scares the heck out of me...

My tires were well used when I got the boat six years ago. They still have tread so I don't plan on replacing them. I think you guys drive a lot further than I do though.
Tread has absolutely nothing to do with the life of trailer tires.

I hope those work out for you! I thought I read somewhere that some guys were going to light truck/car tires due to the quality issues with trailer tires. The old Goodyear marathon and Cooper cobra trailer tires used to be really good. My Coopers are 7 years old and the sidewalls are starting to delminate.
No car tires on my single axle trailer.... Not enough load capacity for even an 18ft rig with a 150.

I assumed you had a tandem Mike. Don't see many rigs over 19' on singles very often these days. I do like a single for ease of moving them around.

My garage is only 20 x 22... My boat barely fits corner to corner, So I ordered the single axle to allow me to turn the rig to my needs. I had a tandem trailer on a 19ft boat and it was rough on me getting it in the garage by hand.
My 22ft Bullet weighs less than any 18ft glass boat with a single axle.
