Why am I getting the "noise" or "distortion" down the center line.? I've seen other images in here that are so much cleaner. Transducer is mounted just below and to the inside of the jack plate. I've played with frequency and have changed the depth to 3 times the depth. This image is at idle or even when engine is not on. It gets worse at idle.
Looks like you have to far up ear or on the jackplate. That's typically interference from your jackplate....either froo the ducer down some or get a hole shot plate.

I would also try the "surface clarity" low - med - high. It helped mine.

I’ve seen this before, is the screen shot with or without motor running?
With or without motor running I had the same problems just as you on my right side scan only. Had to send my 3D module back to Lowrance for testing and repairs.

This shot was without the motor running. It gets a little worse with the motor running and even worse still when I put it in gear and move.
You may want to contact Lowrance, one thing very good is they will stand behind their products.
