    Allison Representation

    I fished my local tournment yesterday "Chickahominy River" throughout the day I chatted with 3 other Allison owners on the water. It is not often I get passed by another boat, a beatiful Orange Allison blew by. A couple out buzzing around enjoying the day. The Allison following well represented, proud to be an Allison owner.

    Back around 2004 (best I recall)---Fished a championship tournament sponsored by Ranger who furnished a new boat as first place.
    I believe Bart Schott was the Ranger rep who came to the awards presentation.. He made the comment "I've never seen this many Allison boats in one place" We had 8 !!!

    I'm not 100% but I'm almost that sure that there are more than that out there. When I got my first one, an 06 year model, it was the 14th ever built and this was about 2012 or so, and Darris was building about a dozen XB21's a year at that time. There isn't 200 out there I'm pretty sure of that though. LOL

    There was a post on here a few years ago where someone broke down the serial number on our hull with the year and such. Maybe Lee knows the breakdown.

    I'm pretty sure there are just over 40 XB21 Prosports... I'd guess there's more than 200 now... but what do I know lol

    I don't have a vin# with me right now but about half way through the numbers there will be an A or a B, after that letter is the build # of your boat. If it's an A50 for example it is the 50th one built, if it's a B50 it is the 150th one built. In other words A goes up to 100 then the letter goes to B.

    Mine was the 11th. Lee... are they separated by type as well or is it just a blanket XB21? Is mine the 11th Prosport or 11th XB21 for example?

    I talked to Terry again a few days ago to be sure and he said that Darris modified the lip on mine and didn’t change the mold until 2017. You may want to call them with your hull id to be sure. But he assured me mine does have the new style lip.
