    LED Reverse Trailer Lights

For those of you with the Rigid reverse lights on your trailer how do you like them? Do they give you enough light to back down a dark ramp? My trailer has the older style (more of a marker light) and it’s not enough light. I’m thinking about switching to these or add another reverse light. I’m trying to stay away from drilling into the trailer by adding lights and keep it flush mounted where my existing light is.

I installed large back-up lights on the underside of my Suburban's bumper. They are near the end of the bumper and slightly angled out so I can see the sides of the ramp. A buddy did something different which works even better. He installed fog lights on the underside ends of his Suburban rear bumper. The wide beam lights up for quite a distance on each side of his vehicle.

I went with these Bluewater LEDs. Could've gotten away with just one.

I installed flush mounts in the bumper of my truck. I had them on the trailer of my all boats but have since removed them. The bumper lights light up the trailer as well as the ramp making it way easier to see when backing down. I have them wired to a 5 way relay as well as a switch on the dash. They activate when trucks is put into reverse or when the switch is flipped.

I like the cybermites but I’m trying not to drill into my trailer if I can help it.
