    High Five

Just purchased a 2007 19 ft Ranger Reata with 200 Opti Max with a 25 pitch High Five prop. Not to sure I like the prop. Not real quick out of the hole but not bad, runs about 60 at wot at 5250 rpms. Could someone tell me the pros and cons of the High Five?

Pros: Great hole shot (when pitched right)
Cons: Poor top end speed(in general)

You could go down in pitch...but it will affect your speed
You could go up in pitch...and affect hole shot

You might look at a Trophy Plus.....do you do any pulling of tubers or skiers or just fishing? If you don't pull.....consider ditching it IMO.

i have one its not as bad as some people think. its my spare

it has little bow lift so it will never fly like a trophy or tempests. tjey are also really light on pitch.. so a 25 high 5 will run like a 23 tempest or trophy. so id try a 23 trophy
i ran a tempest for years and tried everything.
i run a trophy now. find a good one and you will love it.

handles great. great control and a cheap prop to find.
