Dont buy it. Your mind sounds like it is already made up, even though the rod is legit. Dan

sorry can't help on Glx but I did own a 895c NRX and it was extremely tip heavy and I sold it shortly after owning it for that reason.

Probably a good reason it is unpopular

I had one that I didn't keep , never fished with it. It was tip heavy but I didn't keep it because I wanted a lighter power rod not because of balance. Now I have the 893 and was thinking of adding the 894 for a little more power. I think Bigbass94 has both and knows a lot about them if he runs across this thread. How do you like the 894 ?

The 895 in both GLX and NRX are more tip heavy than they should be in my opinion. The NRX 894c JWR is also a bit tip heavy, but it's a great rod and it's not a problem in my hands. There are other options out there for an extra heavy powered jig rod in that length that aren't as tip heavy, etc. Feel free to send me a PM if you are interested in some suggestions!

I bought the 895 nrx and hated it because of being unbalanced. I then bought the megabass destroyer valdivia and problem solved.

The 894 NRX does not have great balance so I put a counterbalance on the butt with 3 quarters in it and I fish these rods without any fatigue or flair ups of Tennis elbow. When I was in the market for a punching rod, I went with another brand over the 895. In retrospect, the 895 is too short for punching anyway
