Ultrex eithernet cable cost

My cable was cut this week while deploying thw motor, from what i understand the cable itself can’t be just replaced it has to be the whole board in the head. Does anyone have any onsite on this and an estimated cost to repair?

Are you talking about the cable that that connects the sonar to the back of your graph?

Believe he's talking about the I-pilot link cable. It's a wired in module with cable to ethernet. $250 to buy it.

Repairing mine as we speak.

Installing an HB 20' ethernet cable and splicing in a connector for it under the hood.

So if it happens again, just replace the cable from head to e-switch.

Yep, that’s the cable. Mine was cut right at the head so it’s too short to splice

There's a few inches inside the head to the module.

Well it worked out just great.
Put a male end onto the Ultrex side and used a standard HB ethernet cable from there to the HB ethernet switch.
I rang out the connectors and connected up to simulate the original cable.

Back in business :)

I bought a boat last year and the previous owner had pinched the link cable in the ultrex mount. I cut the wire at the pinch and took the board
out of the trolling motor head and had an electronics guy desolder the bad end of the cable from the board and solder the good end back on. Cost me 30$
