    Blazer w/ Suzuki

I know Dean Rojas is using that combo in the Elites. Anyone have performance numbers?

I remember BBW magazine did an article on the 250ss Suzuki when it first came out. They ran the motor on a Blazer, Bass Cat, and Charger. I think the Blazer ran around 77.

I would guess mid 70s. The issue with the Suzuki is the gear ratio.

I just noticed on the Suzuki website that they have a boat test with the Blazer. It went 79.9. It was a 2:10 however. I wonder what the 625 would do.

No it wasn't. Gas, batteries, trolling motor, and two people. No gear and empty live well.

That's cool. How did you like the performance overall?

Suzuki makes a great engine...perhaps the best 4 stroke out there. The issue is the gear ratio in the lower unit makes it too hard to prop on a bass boat.
