    Gulf shores in september

    Heading to the gulf for vacation in September, would like to catch some redfish and specks, what are some good artificial baits to try? We catch a lot of flounder and croaker usually but I'm wanting to try for some reds, will be taking the kayaks out several days in some of the backwaters and inlets, thanks for any info!

    We have been going to Florida gulf waters for a few years, gulp shrimp on a jig head will work for both I’m sure. Also had pretty good luck with small jerk baits. Also just a simple soft minnow type bail on a jig head will all always work. Don’t Hessitate to us live shrimp under a popping cork! No telling what you will catch. Good luck and have a blast!

    Get some Gulp jerkbaits & shrimp .

    Shrimp= New Penny

    Jerk Baits = Nuclear Chicken

    Have caught reds ,trout, cobia etc. on that jerk bait.
