    98 191 CONSOLE GRAPH MOUNT

I drew this up and 3D printed it, the first go around had a little flex. I added a X brace and some gussets, should be rock solid now. I also moved it a little closer to the steering wheel and lowered it a little. Will get it mounted this weekend and repost some pictures.

You could have a full time business making custom graph mounts.

What is the measurements of the base? My 198 console base is 6-15/16" Wide by 5-11/16" high. I would be in for one if it fits.

    Is that an HDS 9?

If you are willing, I will like a shot with one. Let me know your price when you figure it out.

I have one that I cobbled together. nothing of your quality, but I did learn that the braces on my mount needed to be on the outer edges. Maybe because of the inferior/light material I was using.

Very, very cool, Beach! Been contemplating how to mount a HDS9 using the hole cover/filler you made me out of aluminum, liking this better. Interested to see what the final outcome is.

That is some really nice 3D printing work, looks great. Interested as well if you decide to crank out a few. What's the material, nylon or other plastic?

It's called onyx, its infused with layers of chopped carbon fiber which helps add strength. They claim it has a strength to weight ratio 23 times stronger than aluminum.

cool. I wondered if you used something that was reinforced, doesn't surprise me that you did. They can 3D print from so many things, thought I'd ask.

One reason I like this version is it doesn't block the gauges. I realize that there will be redundancy, at least with the speedometer, but having them clear if possible could be good. But yeah, a lower and closer version might be excellent as well.

Anyone know how the distance from the steering wheel to the dash varies from a hydraulic system to a cable system?

I thought about removing the speedo and tachometer, then making a new mount for the tachometer so I can see it while driving. Maybe later, need to get this figured out first.
