    Rpm's on SHO 200

What RPM's should I be getting on my "new to me" toy? Took it out for the first time yesterday with 2 people (big boys) and full fuel tanks. Ran it on a zx200 skeeter. Great holeshot and acceleration but from 5000 rpm up it felt "flat". It could be me, as Ive never run a 4 stroke motor. 5600 Rpm was max at 63 mph. Prop is a T1. Thanks for any replies.

Its hot out, two big boys, full tanks, those things don't exactly equate to getting the best numbers you'll see. What is the ptp measurement, might help lifting it up some if it's too low?

What pitch T1? 25p? I've got similar setup with my new 2018 SHO200 (old 2009 ZX200) and an old T1 25p prop and get similar RPMs through most of my jackplate height, until I'm blowing out and then I lose speed and gain RPMs. I need to go down to a 23p I think, since that's what new ZX200 come with.

Prop is a 25 pitch T1. Not sure of the prop to pad measurement but I'll check that when I get home.

    Need to drop a pitch or 2. I run a 25 t-2 on a Phoenix 721 with 2 guys(~400 pounds) full tank and 1 livewell (22 gal) at 74-75 @ 5900.

I wouldn’t change prop just yet. Just raise it up to 2.5” ptp and trim her high and let her fly. My 200 turns the same prop 5900
