wanting to replace 14 inch wheels on 2014 Skeeter fX 21 with 16 or 17 inch

I was wanting to replace my 14 inch wheels on my 2014 skeeter fx 21 with all black or black and chrome wheels. I really like the look of the 2018 fx le wheels but skeeter wont let you purchase unless you have proof that's what you had before. Any suggestions or ideas on wheels in this range (even 18 if they will fit and not look too gangster). any info is appreciated. I do have the fiberglass fenders.

Use a wheel and tire calculator available online plug in your current wheel and tire combo get width and height measurements.. now find a wheel and tire that is the same height and width etc plugging in 17 ,18 etc. It may take about a hour or more of playing around with different combos but you will find something pretty exact. Now you MUST find a tire that has the same or very close load carrying capabilities of your original tires. ( not as super critical on a tandem axle as a single axle). This in a passanger car tire (yes fine on a trailer) is usually what they call and xtra load tire. The rims will also have to be a zero offset rim and a 5 x 4.5 inch (ford) bolt pattern. (it does not have to be a trailer rim as long as you stay with a zero offset) This will give you a ton more options in rim styles... Hope this helps...

Just installed 18x8’s on my fx 20. 245/40 tires. 40 offset. Used a 1 1/4 spacer so they wouldn’t rub. Turned out awesome. I’m not a wheel offset specialist. Lol. Ask a wheel guy and adjust the wheel offset and you won’t need spacers. I took the wheels off of my daughters car so I made them work
