You get a solder sucker, or in this case I'd recommend solder wick, and remove the solder without ruining the board. Then you or someone certified in high reliability soldering install a new one after removing the old one. If it's a diode, and it's open, you could leave the old one in place and solder a general purpose diode right over it. If it blew due to a short downstream, a new one will die too.

It's cracked/broken, it is on the sonar connection part of the board.

Thank you for the recommendation. A 395.00 base fee is a bit much for me. I was going to just buy a structure scan hd box. But then I got to thinking about the 7 I have in the dash with no transducer hooked to it so I ordered a 10 foot structure extension cable and a 12 foot sonar extension cable. 110.00
I am aware that this is just a bandaid and my unit it still messed up but I just can't see spending a minimum 400.00 on it.

I didn't buy the box, I spent $110.00 on the cables.
I'm running the transducer to a hds7 at console then viewing it on the 12 at the bow. It's not a fix but it will work.

Maybe look around for a broken unit from someone....we know there are plenty of broken ones out there.
