Mouting 2 Transducers on the transom?

I recently purchased a Lowrance HDS9 with the LSS2 transducer to compliment my Humminbird 1199 at the console. I got everything installed except the mounting the LSS2 transducer. I am struggling with how to mount both of them so they do not block one another.

Boat is a Ranger Z119 and has a 8" jackplate. Anyone have suggestions?

My humminbird is already there. Will they block each other?

Not to sidetrack but what is your goal? What I mean is why have 2 transducers on the transom?

What would the LSS2 provide that the HB does not?

I added the HDS to get Lowrance 2D and down imaging. I found a good deal on the boards for one that just so happened to have the LSS2 trandsucer and my boat already has the 2D glassed into the hull. I could have also went with the HDI transducer, but still would be at the same place.

Saw a thread where someone suggested 3M 5200 adhesive sealant. I think I am going to use that to mount to the underside of my ranger transom step.

Would mount 2 L brackets interfere with each other?

I run a lowrance elite 7 and humminbird helix 12. I mounted the transducers on opposite sides of the transom to keep them apart for less interference. You'll still need to run them at different frequencies even with them separated. If you have the bird mounted on the jackplate, i would suggest mounting the lowrance directly to the transom as far away from the bird transducer as you can...
