    Bay Cat / Bay Skiff Availability

    Have really been enjoying fishing brackish water lately and considering getting a boat specifically designed for this. Always liked the look of the Bay Cat from afar, unfortunately it looks like it is no longer offered by BCB. If this is the case I certainly would like to know. Assuming this model is built with the typical Bass Cat quality and performance this boat has to be a winner. If it is perhaps still production I would enjoy hearing anyone's like and dislikes with this rig.

    During my search for the Bay Cat I found a picture of a rig called the skiff. Never heard of this but it looked like a nifty little rig in it's own right. If anyone has information about this boat I would appreciated you sharing as well.

    Call BassCat....they still have the mold and I believe you can still order them.

    No, the Skiff Cat is out. We had three hull variations in 18’, 16’ and an 18’ tunnel model. We no longer have a Bluewater Series.

    The factory does have a late model blemmed 16’ Skiff Cat with a large livewell console, trolling motor, HB 700 Series graph and a 1985 50 HP Mercury engine, listed at $5995 ready to go! It’s a low use toss together for a work boat.

    There was one for sale a while back here in Texas. There's guy close by me that has one, he really likes it. He came out of a Bass Cat bass boat.

    The molds are stored and they do not build them presently.
