    Crappies in Texas

Just now noticed this forum. I like it for sure. Any reports from the Dallas area?

    Fork close enough?

Fish are on the main lake channels and points brush piles, or standing timber, in 18" to 20" of water. Pink and/or Chartreuse jigheads with some combination of chartreuse body. Chartreuse and White, Chartreuse and Blue. If it slows down, tip the jig with cut, or whole minnow. This works from dam all the way up the west fork of the lake.

ohh and they were schooled up (I guess feeding on shad) in 9 to 12 foot just off a sandbar. The bass were on wind blown banks in <3 I guesss eating crawdads caught them on a bed rig.
