    Difference between a 282 and a 285

Hey floks. I'm looking a a 1997 Stratos 282 DC with a 05 Merc 150hp XR6. I've been looking all over the net for information about these boats but only found a bit on BBC. Seem to find all kinds on the 285. What is the difference between the two? Are their any issues with the 282? Does anyone here have one? What the fishability like and layout? Any information would be great. Thanks in advance.

I bought a 1997 282 VR with a Fast Strike 150 a little over a month ago and love it. Has plenty of speed (60 on gps) handles rough water well and gets on plane quickly and easily. Only complaint is the amount of storage (gonna fix that this winter) and the seat sets to close to the trollin motor pedal.

The 282 is a great boat, handles well and if setup properly will do over 60mph.
