    Question Ultrex Link vs non-Link & US2

What do you guys think about the link vs the non-link? What does the link allow that the non-link doesn't? From what I understand I can network my Helix units to the link, allowing me to set a route for the Ultrex to follow using the contour lines on LakeMaster? Is that in fact the case? What other benefits does it offer?

Second question, when ordering an Ultrex, looks like they all come with that US2 and transducer, are they all 2d Chirp/DI-SI Mega from the factory, or do you have to specify that?

    Thanks

As you've stated, the Link give you the ability to communicate with an ethernet compatable Humminbird running the Lakemaster cards. This will be used for the circle function, waypoints, routes, trails, follow contours.
the US2 is strickly an 83/200 sonar transducer with temp. There is no SI/DI/Mega options for the US2.
If I can help, give me a call.

Yes to all functions that were included in the prior Link model TMs. You would need the latest software for your unit (ver 7.79) to be fully compatible.
