    17 zx 225 w/ 225 sho prop setup

Just got into a 2017 zx225 w/ 225 SHO on it. the stock prop with the boat is a 24p fury.
I have the manual jackplate set at 7 dots. With this setup at wot i am turning around 6100-6200 rpm. this is to high i know.
I was going to drop it down a dot or 2 to see if this would help before going out and buying a new prop.
Has anyone else ran into this before?
    Thanks

If you are not hitting the rev limiter you are not running the rpms to high, plus tachs are not completely accurate. & to 8 dots on the jackplate is where these boats like to be. Odd that the boat came with a fury, in 2017 it should have been a SHO T1/T2 25p. What speeds are you getting?

Get rid of that fury and get a 25t2 or t1

Fury’s are to small of a dia . For a SHO. If your having a hard time getting a Yamaha prop . Try a tempest they run real nice on a SHO .
