    Replacement tires?

I had a tire blow on my 2000 jaguar trailer. It has always had the firestone firehawk Indy 500 tires on it. I've had real good luck with them so far, think that I hit something on the interstate that caused it to go flat and blow. Talked to my local tire dealer and it seems that they don't make the Indy 500 in the 215/70/15 size anymore. What is a comparable tire or where could I find the Indy 500s?

I use the mastercraft avenger in that size. I have only blown 1 tire over 4 years. I just put a set on this year. I travel 220 miles round trip every 2 weeks. Plus some local fishing. I rack the miles up.

I had quality issues with Avengers when I went to replace. The white letters had multiple bad areas in them and looked horrible. I went through two sets before giving up and going with BFG radial T/A's (215/70 R15). Might have been a bad run that Summit Racing had in stock at the time but after speaking with the factory a couple times I have my doubts. Of course as soon as you say they are on a boat trailer they have a fit.

The factory moved to General tires and has had excellent success.

I replaced my 5 year old Mastercraft Avengers with the General Tires Altimax that Bass Cat is installing on current production. So far I am very happy with them.

What are you using for RWL tires?

Into my 5th year with Mastercraft Avengers (not the same set the entire time) and have had no problems. I put 9-10K miles on my trailer per year.
There was a time that I didn't fish but I cannot remember it.

Goodyear endurance. Best towing tire I've ever used on multiple boat trailers and standard flat trailers.

I went with the general tire altimax. Seem like a good tire from everything I've read...found out my old tires were coming up on 18yrs old!
