    Question for ChampioNman

Last summer I had a rectifier meltdown. I replaced it. Engine runs great. My question is about my Tach. It does'nt work. Advice was given to me on here to not hook up the purple wire, which I didnt. My replacement rectifier does have the purple wire. Would that be the cause? I hooked it back up and when I bump the starter now the tach moves.

Thank you, sir. Putting water pump kit in tomorrow night. Any good videos on the shift linkage connection or any other sticky spots?
