Any small town Northwoods tavern(mosquito country)or resort bar with a old grill in front(sometimes in the middle) that is on and cooking burgers at 1,2 and 3pm. You know they are good burgers and sell plenty when they are cooking burgers at 2:00 pm or even 8pm. There is nothing better than stopping after a full morning fishing and stopping for 2 beers and a chesseBurger with a shower and a nap for dessert.

Local hometown place. There is a menu on his Facebook page. He serves breakfeast and lunch. Thursday and Friday evenings he stays open till 8 and does specialty burgers. The evening specialty is posted on his facebook page also. The second time I went there after he started the evenings the burger was so good I had tears in my eyes. I have had rib sandwiches, salmon, striped bass, turkey breast . Great little spot.

Little family run place here called Val`s. 50s style diner that has been in business since the 50s. Amazing burgers, old fashioned shakes, the kind you get a big stainless steel cup. The burgers are simple, add your own condiments at your table. If you order fries or onion rings you get a big basket full.

ill be honest i usually dont eat hamburgers at restaurants but we use to have a old fashion jiffy burger that was really good. and years ago after being on the lake all day an older woman at goose pond fixed me a burger and it was the best i ever had LOL
Local place here called Mazzy's has the MOAB (mother of all burgers), marinated in Worcestershire sauce and fresh garlic, your choice of cheese and bacon on it.
Chili's is pretty good, we have a local bbq place called Squealers that have one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever eaten.
