New to the forum and first time Interest in the Nitro Z series lineup. I ordered a 2019 Z18 on May 22nd and will be seeing it for the first time by the middle of next week. I spoke to Blake at PC and said the changes are subtle. The bow deck is now raised and the trolling motor has been upgraded to the Fortrex. Not sure if the wheels are the primos or the chrome plated steelies. The February release of the Pro XS in the 150L was an option but my dealer here in SC failed to relay that to me during my build. No biggie there. I just want my boat!! lol. Anyone have anything to add?
Welcome aboard AuMiner200,
I hope you enjoy your Z18 and have a great time catching a lot of fish.

A little bird told me that the new z20 was a new Hull and was gonna see a pretty decent top end increase.
hard to believe a new hull on the 20

Wonder if they are going to use some of Legends designs.
Look back at the 2016 model. It was faster and did not need wedges to keep from porpoising. Nitro seems to play around with hull design more than made public. The first Z21 was 21’8” long and slower than today’s 21’2” models. They messed up the Z20 but helped the Z21. You can find this information in many different forums and see the progression. Thank goodness they have not messed with the Z21 hull design and tried to make the NVT work on it. I have been watching rumored speeds of the new Mercury V8 compared to actual speeds reported by owners that have them. You should investigate before passing up a good deal on a 2 stroke that is in stock.
When was the Z21 21' 8"? I'm guessing that was a prototype or just someone guessing.
Looks like someone other then Dowco is making the covers now.

The z9 were 20'-9" and the z21 are 21'-2". That's what I found.

According to my dealer the Z18 will have the space for the net behind the passenger seat, front dash is raised for better viewing of flush mounted graphs, the area under the drivers console has been redesigned to give more leg room, and a few small changes are rumored but he couldn't confirm those yet. I'm waiting for the new model to show up before ordering a new boat. I'm hung between the Z18 and Z19.
I found an ad that popped up doing a Google search by a Texas boat dealer dated early 2015 for a new Nitro Z21 at a price of 39,995.00 and the boat was listed as all new design 21’9” long. I figured they called all the first ones sold 2016 year models. That is the first mention I have found. I do notice that there have been 2016 Z21 boats with owners claiming top speeds of only 68 mph and now all the later models are low 70’s.
There is a YouTube video of the 2016 Z20 being tested and it runs over 74 mph but the latest models don’t and now come with wedges on the back.
Saw this little gem at my Bass Pro Saturday.....
Very nice!!

I pulled the wedges on my 2018 z20 and saw no performance gain.

The newly redesigned 2019 Z20! New hull that Ive been told will far outperform the last hull.

I dunno, sometimes they have what I call mid model years, some changes but not all.
Looks like the z20 has the redesigned bow area like the z18, only one pin in the front deck for your seat. redesigned recessed foot pedal area. Re positioned bilge and aerator ports.

I dunno why they even have bilge ports to side to begin w. Looks nice and makes s sense to have them all in one area
