    Mini Emergency

Accidentally left the break away cable for the trailer attached to my truck as I pulled it away after parking. The brakes are locked. I need to know how to reset the actuator (or whatever it's called). Do I have to disassemble the tongue slide? If so, what is the process for that like?

    Trailer carries a 2017 Caracal.

There is a small “L” shaped lever sticking out below the coupler not too far behind the ball. Push it up to release the brakes. You will have to disassemble to replace the cable.

Do you happen to have a picture so I know what I'm looking at when I get home?

If the cable is still there, do I have to worry about replacing it? I didn't pull it all the way out.

You can replace the clip and you should have an extra taped on a piece of paper in your black satchel.
