How can I get my rods to lay flat on the front deck of a ranger 497VS. I remember seeing a compartment that someone made to go into the front of their console but now that I am looking for it I cant find the post
I think they mounted a glove box without the door in the console, to provide a recess for the rods. You could also cut an opening in the console and install u-channel edge trim.
