brakes are up to you unless required by state as posted earlier. The 45" is fine for that rig unless your in 4 footers all day. The prop sounds ok it depends on what you like, but Im assuming it wouldn't be on there unless it worked, As far as upgrades good electronics are expensive these days, But if you buy welcome to the CLUB!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a 52" on my 210 and wouldn't want one any shorter.

I have a 45”. Most days it’s fine. But when the wind and waves are up pretty good it will bob out of the water a bit. It never really bothers me but if I were to get an ultrex, I would want it longer... I think.

A lot of people never need their seatbelt either, but if you ever need it and it isn't there, it'll be bad. People run red lights, someone who's never pulled a trailer will cut you off, not knowing that you can't stop quickly, deer running across the road. Too many things beyond your control. Get the brakes fixed.

I had a 45" Fortrex on mine when the boat was new and it was awful. Didn't take long for me to replace it.

If your going to a 198 Elite go look at the one Charger just released yesterday. If your going to buy might as well be brand new.

I cannot afford anything close to new.

Also I'm no longer buying this boat
