    Thrust washer

    Serial number: 1B904385

    I have a 2012 year ProXS with tempest prop.

    While taking the prop off to do some routine checking things out....i can not get the trust washer off. Why is stuck, how is it stuck...what can I do to get it off? I have done this at least a dozen times and never had an issue. Any advice please.

    They stick over time when the two cones are pressed for long enough etc.

    take two pry bars, one on each side of the thrust washer back and pop it off.

    Have to do do this all the on boats I keep two pry bars in my prop change bag at all times
