That was a brutal way to end the game for Auburn's RF. I feel for him. You don't see that very often and I don't think I've ever seen it on a walk off then add walk off to end your season with winner going to world series and its soul crushing.

Yeah, I do feel for that kid in R F, it was just a freak thing with a tough catch. Hope he wasn't a senior and his playing time is over. The loss is not on him, no one play wins or loses it.

Just heard on the radio that a South Carolina fan that was at the game described the atmosphere "like a college football student section...at a baseball game". Said they were blown away with how crazy the atmosphere was at the game.

What about those catches the Auburn outfield made !!!!! I'm a Gator fan but that game/series could have gone either way . My son played for Fl. about 10 years ago and the S E C baseball is very high level and some great young men on all those teams . Baseball coaches don't put up with trouble makers .

Kid for Carolina (Bergner) has pitched a heckuva ballgame, thus far... One mistake pitch while up in the count cost him... Since then, he's retired 16 in a row.

State's been shaky in the field... Henderson just yanked Pilkington, who's also pitched a pretty good game.
