    Bow Roller Replacement - 2011 Z519

The original roller has become deformed and difficult to turn so I’d like to replace it w/ a new replacement from Ranger. I looked around @ other brand options (Stolz etc) but they all seem to come with various cons & pros from the guys who tried them.

So that said: what sort of job can I expect ? I’d like to do the job @ the local lake - put the boat the water and do the repair. My concern is with the roller as deformed as it is it could be a mofo to get off / work on … I’m prepared to bring my big hammer, mallet, ratchets and wrenches. I just don’t want to get half way & get stuck … maybe a safer bet to do it @ the house ? Anybody done this job before ?

    Thanks

Whatever you do buy a stolz it will not develop a flat spot or mar your boat. If you have a floor jack jack it up using soft wood as ceder you can do that at home.
