A-rig double bass catch! What fun!

I've just started fishing the Alabama Rig recently - never tried one before. I was using it off the bulk-headed shore in the morning this past weekend and I had the coveted double bass catch! Started with a reasonable hook-set with a ~1-2# bass and I was winning the retrieve battle, and then suddenly I wasn't as my line was getting stripped off quick. That was when a ~4# bass took bite and it was a bit of effort to get the 2 fish onshore. But what a surprise when I got them both in! I've read about it and seen photos/videos, but to have it happen yourself, it's quite a treat.

I thought I had a double fishing for smallies this past weekend, hooked up and halfway in it just got heavier. Turned out that she went from one hook in the mouth to one in the mouth and one in the tail.
