Many pontoon owners leave them in the water, so a trailer would be a waste of money. Very normal for it to be an option.

If you don't have a trailer and you need to take it to the shop or another lake you better have a friend with one. Most boats don't come with it, you pay for the trailer, its just included in the total price.

I bought a Haul-Rite tandem axle trailer (no brakes) with mine. $1900.00. We have a fenced in designated area for boat/trailer parking for the condo owners. Saves me about $400.00 per year in winter storage fees. We have our own boat ramp, so it's easy to take out/put in when we want to. They draw the lake down 4' or more every year, so it's required you take your boat out unless you have deep water access, which I don't. I don't like being at the mercy of the dealers as far as costs to take out/put in, winterization, service, cleaning, etc. It can cost over $1,000.00 a year for a full winter package. I trailer it, and change oil, LU grease, etc., and do most the cleaning myself while it's on the trailer. Pull it to the dealer for acid wash and wrapping, and then park it on our property. I'll get my money back on the trailer when I sell.

Buy you a bear trailer. Made in the USA and powder-coated.

In the market for a pontoon as well in the St. Louis, MO area and finding a lot of the same. Little frustrating for sure.
