Well I was in a 04 and a 05 ZX200 and ZX225 and loved them and sold the 05 in 2013 and got a 08 Z9 last year in February for a great deal and it’s a big boat but now have a chance to get a local guys 09 20i for a great deal. Anyone owned a later date 20i like this? It did have a new powerhead installed in 2013 and has about 200 hours on it. The owner had a FX20 now and selling this one. Single console series 2 HPDI 2nd powerhead any reviews likes or dislikes?

my 21i is a great boat. same year and I can still get parts for it. they don't make em like they used to so I say pounce on it
the only issue I have which is strange is why it has a 225 and not a 250? I have never seen a skeeter without a Max HP motor. also some cosmetic trailer damage on right side from it hitting a pole and breaking that plastic fender and well up pretty good. The boat is overall very clean. $25K is very fair.

yeah or get aluminum replacements which is cheaper and do both...just wont look the same. so why a 225 and not a 250, have you seen this?

Personally, If I were trading boats today, I would get one with the SHO - that would be the show stopper for me. Just my opinion. You could always trade up if you wanted to later.....
Went from a ZX225 that was sold thanks to a divorcebut last year picked up a 20i
overall i perfer the 20i marginally but both were excellent boats. Small details would be the trailers aren't great but that's going to be a general complaint across the board... the only thing i liked on my zx225 that isn't on my 20i was the small console to the right of the drivers seat. Used to find it handy putting wallet and keys in there. Overall love both boats!

The fender replacement from EZ loader is $1800 + shipping, kicker is 8-10 weeks FROM order date.
The 20i is a great rough water boat. Ask why the 225 instead of the 250, I'm curious as well.
Hopefully it has nothing to do with transom integrity
it was what Yamaha replaced the 09 with in 2013 and the entire motor not just the powerhead. it was Dean Rojas boat when he won Oneida in 2008

I owned a 2010 20i with an SHO. Sold it to my tourney partner - I love that boat. Great ride, stable, fast - if Skeeter still made the I class I would very likely still be in a Skeeter.
