dodged the storms and got in 18

We had planned to play this morning, but storms were rolling thru. Got looking at the radar, and decided we could play a course about a hour away. Managed to shoot a 89, which was my first time in the 80's this year. Really should've shot a 84, but couldn't get the speed right on the greens. They had about 3/4" of a rain, and some of the greens were still fast while others were slow.

Thought I shot 90, had given myself a extra stroke on the front when I added it up. Phone said it was 89, had to go back and add them up again. Now to figure out how to shoot a 85 or lower, that was the goal for the year.

My wife and I played in yucaipa California over the weekend while visiting my wife's family. My nephew and brother in law played too but it was more about just having fun then keeping an accurate score. I did manage a few pars which is a win for me.
