If it worked before its gotta be an issue with the install. Id try to lower it on down to an inch below the pad just so you know for sure you should get water- if that dont do it its time to call bobs and see what you can check before sending it in. Id put a nosecone hose adapter on it and pull off the side hoses and check water flow

I agree with alli ss. Either LWP was done incorrectly or lower/water pump install was done incorrectly
I will double check water pump today
SEE POST #8 and if there's no problem there then call Bob's!

What was wrong with the lower unit the way it was before you tried to modify it.
