MG tour edition stuck on high

I have a motoguide tour edition digital 36v and it is only working on a high speed. I have already checked the switch up front and its not on high bypass. Was working just fine for the first 3-4 hours of the day yesterday then all of sudden this happens. Any thoughts/suggestions?

Mr. Jones will be the one to give you an expert answer, but I’d venture to say the speed rheostat (I think that’s the proper name) might be bad if it’s not the hi-bypass switch.

You didn't say if this is digital or not. Usually the control board or module is the bad part when it's stuck on high speed. If it's not digital, the control board is no longer available. If it's digital, it's usually the module and we should have the parts in stock to fix it.

It is a digital tour edition. I checked the lower unit and there was no sign of water. Still be the board?

yes, could still be the module. I've given troubleshooting advice many times on this board. A search will tell you how to check the module.
