My boat has the digital switching feature and I cant figure out how to activate it. I have the feature active on my Lowrance but the switching doesn't work. It has the Nmea 2000 installed from factory. How is this hooked up? I know only a few boats have this feature and hoping someone knows. My dealer is clueless.

On the left margin of your Lowrance do you have (Z CONTROL) written vertically?

I found that by accident the other day and when i tapped it it brought up the list on the screen and after tapping on the trim up icon twice it started working. The dealer never mentioned it. The boat is going back to the dealer next week to add what is necessary to bring up the engine data on the HDS and i will ask about how the Z control functions.

I just went down to the boat to see if there is any more info in the manuals or on screen but I can't find anything about the Z control.

May be wrong but I think that is suppose to be standard on a Icon,,,,,,,RT
Its also standard on 621fs but how does it hook up to Lowrance?
The only connection I can think of is through the nema 2000 network. That said this software stuff drives me nuts;I spent an hour trying to connect the carbons to WI FI with no luck.

Thats what I think too but I cant figure out where the connection is.
I saw that on mine. I'm not sure but I thought you had to have the mercury sensors in the motor linked into the nmea 2000

I have vessel view link which gives engine data but not digital switching
Just out of curiosity what does the digital switching do? Can't say I've heard of it before
Links from boat to your graphs and allows full control of key pads on graphs. Very convenient.

In your advanced settings do you have a line labeled Digital Switching just below the CZone line? I f you do highlight the Ranger FS v 1.1 or Ranger Zv1.1 that is the application that runs the keypad. I think

I did do that and the program comes up on graph but no response. Something must not be hooked up on boat. I have no idea what to look for
Every "L " boat with lowrance has it installed that we have.. I do not remember seeing it on any of the 621fs.
It is advertised with digital switching and Lowrance has it on the unit under Ranger FS. How does this hook up? Through nmea?
